Delete Your DirUp Account

Open DirUp and sign in to the account you want to delete.

Go to your Profile and open the menu.

Tap Terminate Account, then tap DELETE.

Confirm when asked. You will be signed out, and your account is closed straight away.

If you no longer have the app or can't sign in, email contact@dirupsocial.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject "Delete my account" and your DirUp username.

To protect your account, we may ask you to confirm that you own it before we delete it. We will reply to confirm once your account has been deleted.

Your profile, including your name, username, profile photo and bio.

The posts, photos, videos, stories, polls and comments you created.

Your followers, the people you follow, your likes and your content preferences.

Your messages are removed from your account. Copies of messages you sent may remain visible to the people you sent them to.

Your data is permanently deleted within 30 days of your request.

We may keep limited information for longer where the law requires it or where it is needed to prevent fraud and abuse, such as records of reports made about an account or of accounts banned for breaking our rules. This information is kept only as long as it is needed for that purpose, and then deleted.

Copies held in backups are overwritten as part of our regular backup cycle.
